The beautiful photography of Salvatore Mancini is complemented by Native American poems in this visually and spiritually enriching volume. We chose duotones of umber and warm grey to match the richness of the soil and the depth of the night sky. A grid was designed to display every photograph full frame, as the photographer stipulated. To create visual harmony between the poems and the photographs, line art illustrations based on the petroglyphs were designed as keystones.
