Charette Communication Design got its start in 1993 by providing design and marketing solutions for architects, authors and musicians. Since that time we have expanded our areas of expertise into the fields of law firm marketing and technology while broadening our services in the entertainment and publishing fields.

Charette's body of work covers both the online and print worlds. We handle clients' web needs from information architecture, site design, programming, ISP qualification and selection, through search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine management (SEM). In the world of print, we bring three decades of experience to the ever-challenging process of creating a compelling and unique concept by laying ink on paper.

As designers, we work in a highly interactive and collegial manner, which is reflective of the meaning of the word Charette.

Founded by partners Jeffrey Yerkey and Peter Friedrich, Charette has studios in San Francisco and New York.
